About Us

Info:

You know what the words mean, but now you need to figure out how to do it - that's where we come in. One Up Lacrosse was created for young lacrosse players to learn the skills they need to reach the pinnacle of their game. We have focused on building our camps in areas throughout the country where the game is growing rapidly, but the resources necessary to continue this growth just aren't available. We at One Up Lacrosse have that high-level experience and are ready to share it with the rest of the country!

Our program is designed to help each individual camper work on every aspect of their game. We have assembled a coaching staff that not only has experience at the highest levels of the game, but also has the ability to pass their knowledge on to those who have the desire to advance their game. We are certain you will have a safe, educational, and fun experience at One Up Lacrosse camps!

So we ask you one question...

Are YOU ready to one up your competition??

Who Are We?

One Up Lacrosse was created by two former NCAA division 1 players, Brett Mathis and Matt Donovan. Brett and Matt played at Siena College together in 2006 and 2007 where they were helped turn a struggling program around and helped them to their first winning season in over 20 years (2007). They also earned a trip to their league tournament for the first time in School history. Siena College is now a force at the division 1 level and just last year earned their first league championship and a trip to the NCAA division 1 lacrosse tournament. Brett and Matt created One Up Lacrosse because they have a passion for expanding the game in growing areas. They both have a burning desire to pass on their lacrosse knowledge to kids in non traditional lacrosse areas who are eager to learn, and want to stimulate the growth of the sport.
